Spirit River Community is a people with a passion for mission and social justice. We are very engaged in the Isanti/Cambridge area in meeting the needs of our neighbors.


Memory Cafe’- Isanti – 4th Thursday of the month

Come with your loved one or care companion. Share your stories and socialize with others who are concerned about memory loss in a relaxed setting. This is sponsored by Cambridge ACT on Alzheimer’s, Spirit River Community and grant funds form Allina Health. The 4th Thursday of every month care givers and their loved ones can meet for coffee, treats, conversation, activities and companionship.  There is no charge to attend.
Matthew 25 Food Distribution

Once a month, on the fourth Saturday, Spirit River Community distributes food to any and all who show up.  Every person, no matter the age, receives two grocery bags of food. Isanti Middle School, 9:30 am.

MEET (Meet Everyone Eat Together)

This is an opportunity to meet others in the community and share a meal with them. Dinners are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM, at the Spirit River Community Center. Everyone is welcome to this joint venture of Spirit River Community, local churches, businesses, school groups, and other organizations. Free will offering.

(Taking Off Pounds Sensibly)

Take Off Pounds Sensibly meets on Tuesday evenings each week, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome: women, men, preteens and teens. Any questions please call Wanda Eide: 763-898-6089
